Unless you're talking about quickjacks or portable scissor lifts, anything else will require installation. Meaning, either anchoring it to the concrete or cutting into the slab if you're going for a flush-mount setup. It doesn't have to lift from the pinch welds either. If you use blocks and place them under the frame's lifting points you'd be fine. I've been doing some research on mid-rise scissor lifts since I'm gutting my garage this summer and wanted to finally get a lift.
